958 companies with foreign capital registered in January February 2014
As many as 958 commercial companies with foreign capital were registered in Romania in the first two months of 2014, with the total amount of the invested capital having stood at RON 2.348 billion (EUR 520.943 million), according to the data centralized by the National Institute of Statistics (INS).
Since 1991 and until February 28, 2014, as many as 193,374 companies with foreign capital were registered in Romania, with an invested share capital of RON 131.833 billion (EUR 38.213 billion).
In February, 509 companies with foreign capital were registered, with the invested capital having amounted to RON 3.125 million (EUR 695,207). Most companies with foreign capital were registered, in February, in Bucharest – 188 companies, with a total capital of RON 1.662 million, Timis County – 53 ones, with a capital of RON 254, 300, and Ilfov County – 41 ones, with a capital of RON 721,800.
In the counties of Buzau, Mehedinti, Teleorman and Tulcea, no company with foreign capital was registered, while in the counties of Calarasi, Gorj, Ialomita, Olt, Salaj, Valcea and Vrancea one such company was registered.
Most foreign investors came, in February, from Italy – 146 investors, Germany – 36, Turkey – 31, France – 29 and China – 26.
