Daimler AG to consolidate Automotive Business in Romania
German Automotive Manufacturer Daimler AG plans to streamline its sales and after sales activities in the Romanian market by merging the two existing local distribution entities, Mercedes-Benz Romania S.r.l. and EvoBus Romania S.r.l, reads a press release. Upon finalization of legal procedures, the full range of EvoBus Romania’s operations will be transferred to Mercedes-Benz Romania, including the sale of new and used buses and coaches as well as retail business. All staff currently employed at EvoBus Romania will continue to work under the roof of Mercedes-Benz Romania. Consequently, EvoBus Romania will cease to exist as a separate legal entity. After the merger, activities will be continued in a combined structure under common management. The established EvoBus location in Bucharest, Odai Street, will be maintained. The bus workshop and the sales teams will remain at the location. Consequently, bus customers will experience the same dedication to their specific needs and requirements as they have appreciated so far.
